This research mainly aimed to determine the future indicative needs of the fisheries cooperative leaders, by achieving the following sub-objectives:
1) Identifying some of the distinctive characteristics of the fisheries cooperative leaders surveyed.

2) Determining the future indicative needs of the fisheries cooperative leaders surveyed in the field of tasks entrusted to them to achieve.

3) Studing of the interrelationships between the future indicative needs of the fisheries cooperative leaders and the studied independent variables.

4) Identifying the most important obstacles faced by the fisheries cooperative societies to play their role in the services they provide and proposals to solve them from the respondents' point of view.

In light of the research objectives and based on the nature of the study and the quality of the data that agree and achieve those objectives, a questionnaire was made for this research, which included three main sections, the first of which specialized in: First Identifying some of the distinctive characteristics of the fisheries cooperative leaders surveyed.

The second was concerned with identifying the guiding needs of the leaders of fisheries cooperative societies, and finally the third section dealt with: identifying the opinions and proposals of the cooperative leaders of the fishermen surveyed to solve the obstacles they face.

The geographical scope of this research was determined in the marine fisheries associations within the scope of the western fisheries region, which includes the governorates of Alexandria and Beheira, with a total of 9 fisheries cooperatives, 4 in the Alexandria governorate and 5 in the Beheira governorate.

The following statistics: percentages, frequency tables, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, and simple correlation coefficient, to present and discuss the findings of the study and extract its indicative implications for agricultural and fisheries.

The most important results obtained were:
1) 60% of the total fishermen surveyed have obtained a school certificate, and 82.2% of the total respondents have worked in the cooperative for more than 10 years'. 
2) Three-quarters of the respondents (75.6% ) fall into the categories of low and medium future guidance needs.

3) There is a correlation between the future indicative needs of the leaders of the cooperative societies of the fishermen surveyed in the services provided by the cooperative societies for the fishermen and the studied independent variables, namely: the respondents' age, the educational status of the fishermen surveyed, the duration of the respondent's work in the fishermen's cooperative societies, and the job status of the respondent within the fishermen's cooperative, the period spent by the respondent in filling his job in the fishermen's cooperative association, the fish extension training, the extent of the future need for fish extension training and the severity of the need for it, the exchange between the leaders of the fishermen's cooperative societies and some institutions related to the fishing community, and the cooperation between the leaders of the fishermen's cooperative societies and some institutions related to the community Fishing, leadership in the fishing community, and innovation in the fishing community.

4) The most prominent obstacles from the respondents' point of view were “the lack of cooperation between popular and executive leaders in solving the problems of fishermen, the “weak community capabilities that help implement the association's programs, ” and “the lack of community awareness of the fishermen's needs and problems.

” Their most prominent suggestion was to overcome them.

The media's interest in presenting the issues and problems of fishermen, and "educating the community about the needs and problems of fishermen".
