Over time, the image of Iraqi theater in exile continues to grow thanks to a number of Iraqi playwrights living in different countries around the world.

they continue their constant search to formulate their own places and express their ideas and their interaction regarding the reality that surrounds them, through the theatrical art that affects the historical process and the consciousness of the conditions of life and existence.

the experience of the exiled man, his suffering, his difficulties and his hopes shaped according to his responsibility and the reactions towards what is happening around him, embody the actions of the dramatic work and attempt to respond to the concerns and to break the silence vis-à-vis violence, alienation, tyranny and forced exile.

this research deals with the suffering of the Iraqi expatriate through the characters of two Iraqi plays : without Germany by Majid Alkhatib and the 25th hour train by Khazaal Almajidi.
