The theme of war is recurring in the Algerian literary production because the majority of writers have lived in the independence war or the terrorism period.
thus their novels, in the most, describe the horror of war and corpse scenes.
but, in the princess and the clown, the writer Hamid Skif products a singular representation of this theme.
in fact, the animal metaphore that we find in this text express the symbolic destruction of the human been by the war before his real and physic destruction.
the text of Skif is polyphonic because it transmits the mess of the war.
thus, in the princess and the clown, the denunciation of violence is done in symbolic way.
الملخص FRE
Le présent article étudie la représentation de la guerre civile dans le roman de l'écrivain Algérien Hamid skif.
paru aux éditions 00h00.com, en 1999, ce roman ne s'attache pas à décrire fidèlement les crimes et les scènes de meurtres, à l'encontre des romans de l'écriture de l'urgence des années quatre vingt dix.
comment et pourquoi ce roman se démarque-t-il de cette production traitant de la guerre? skif n'a pas procédé à un mimétisme parfait d'un réel terroriste choquant mais il a analysé en profondeur le phénomène de la guerre.
ainsi, l'abondance de la métaphore animalière émane de cette défiguration symbolique de l'ennemi dont on cherche à défigurer le corps.
le corps est alors le moyen et l'enjeu de toute guerre.
l'ordre de l'action armée produit un désordre que traduisent la polyphonie énonciative et l'enchevêtrement des voix que nous lisons dans la princesse et le clown.
