The current research was concerned with a study (representations of mental disorders in post-impressionism drawings), which included four chapters, the first chapter dealt with the research problem, since art is a human product, it is always affected by intellectual, psychological and social currents, so that artistic productions are not just relationships of artistic elements, but rather The artist is full of human suffering and psychological disorders, which he projects on his work through art, He turns his repressed psychological burden into something that is easy to digest and absorb, and because these disorders affect the human self and its psychological and social compatibility, so the research problem has been identified by the following question (What are the representations of mental disorders in post-impressionism drawings?), This chapter also includes the importance of The research, the need for it, its goal and limits, and the definition of the terms contained therein.

As for the second chapter, it included two sections about me, the first studying mental disorders, and the second topic dealing with post-impressionism drawings.
