The mastery of writing for students in scientific fields at the Algerian university forms a problem, which will be the subject of our study.
the question raised in this regard revolves around scriptural competence among first-year students of the science and technology (ST) common core at the university of Médéa.
we highlight the different types of writing that this category of students must write.
this involves examining the role that linguistic competence plays in the acquisition of discipline-specific knowledge.
to answer our problem, a field investigation consisting of a questionnaire intended for students and an interview with teachers of the discipline allowed us to partly determine the failure rate in the 1st year ST.
الملخص FRE
La maitrise de l’écrit pour les étudiants des filières scientifiques à l’université algérienne forme une problématique qui fera l’objet de notre étude.
la question soulevée à cet égard tourne autour la compétence scripturale chez les étudiants de première année tronc commun sciences et techniques (ST) à l’université de Médéa.
nous mettons l’accent sur les différents types d’écrit que cette catégorie d’étudiants doit rédiger, il s’agit d’examiner le rôle que joue la compétence linguistique dans l’acquisition de connaissances spécifiques à une discipline.
pour répondre à notre problématique, une enquête sur le terrain constitué d’un questionnaire destiné aux étudiants et un entretien avec les enseignants de la discipline nous a permis de déterminer en partie le taux d’échec en 1ère année ST.
