Based on the premise that a literary text does not arise ex nihilo, this article examines the texts that inspired Kamel Daoud and Albert Camus in the writing of their respective novels titled the Meursault investigation (2013) and the stranger (1942).
the analysis of certain passages from these novels highlights the use of the rewriting process by both authors.
indeed, our main objective is to identify the hypotexts in these novels, according to Gérard genette's transtextual meaning, and to demonstrate the presence of a palimpsest.
الملخص FRE
Partant du postulat qu’un texte littéraire ne nait pas ex nihilo, nous nous penchons dans cet article sur les textes dont se sont inspirés Kamel Daoud et Albert Camus dans l’écriture de leurs romans intitulés respectivement meursault, contre-enquête (2013) et l’étranger (1942).
l’analyse de certains passages de ces textes romanesques met en exergue le recours des deux auteurs au procédé de la réécriture.
de fait, il s’agit essentiellement pour nous, de déceler dans ces romans les hypotextes, selon l’acception transtextuelle de Gérard genette et de démontrer qu’il est bien question de palimpseste.
