The social and psychological effects of war and their reflections on the academic performance of the teacher of the university.

The teacher of Iraqis universities from atop specialized group graduated from the womb of the world universities that proved a know ledged merit.

The ones who work in the developed countries offered the best valuable works and researches recognizing the qualification of the Iraqi teacher if there were opportunities of structured works.

The teacher of the university exposed, as the people of Iraq, to various kinds of social and psychological stress because of the violence events limiting his activity, ability, emotive, his teaching skill and above of all they pushed a lot of the teachers to leave their work in the university and emigrated to save their lives and the lives of their relatives.

The aim of this sandy is to specify the most important psychological effects resulting from the violence events after the war which effected and effecting on the life of the teacher in general and his academic performance inside the college in particular to make the special programs minimizing the effect of these phenomena or to decreasing them.

The sample was selected randomly from the original research society consisting of (150) teacher with different ages, martial status and specialization.

To achieve the aims of the study, three tools of measuring were prepared, the 1st and 2nd to specify the social and psychological effects of war, and their items grouped through two open questionnaires distributed to a sample consisting of research society and then the answers and their categories were unified and adding items from previous studies and listed written close questionnaire and putting before every item five alternatives.

As For the 3rd tool, it was Prepared to specify the level of teaching staff Performance, consisting of (28) item representing the specified Performances groped through reading the literatures discussing the duties and skills of the university teacher and preparing for ht a quintuple scale beginning from 5 to 1 degrees had been arranged to specify the level of the performance as rating scale.

After that, statistical examinations were done to specify the psychometric features as reliability and validity, an after assuring from the objectivity of the tools, they were distributed to the sample to calculate their results.

The study reached to important results specifying the important Psychological effects on escalating level beginning from the most important effects to lessons, beside that, the level of academic performance of the sample was valued and it was found a correlation relation between the social and psychological effects the level of academic performance showing a significant relation writhen social effects.

As for Psychological ones they were not significant and the study reached to number of conclusions and suggestions.
