Man undergoes many stressful situations and events which leave difference psychological effects on him, as failure in job as gaining it, leaving someone special, divorce, money problems and so forth.

Infertility could be the most stressful because the in ability to give birth is connected with the husband frustration in having a baby called by his name, as it is a great aim especially in our Eastern societies in general and Arabic societies specially.

The significant of this study could be listed as follows:- The problem I tackled is of great importance, as 10% of the married people in the world suffer from the problem of infertility and infertility on it's turn result in psychological stress.

The result of this study would be preparing a new scale to measure the psychological stress for women who suffer from infertility.

Also there are few studies about this problem in the world in general, and in Arab homeland especially.

Aims of the research: 1- Build instrument to measure psychological stress caused by infertility.

2- To know the level of the psychological stress for women who suffer from infertility.

3- To know the relation between the age of the partners and the long ness of the period of their marriage and their psychological stress.

The limitations of the study : The results of this study limited to the study of the psychological stress caused by infertility for a sample of women, according to the following frames : Human frame : limited to women suffer from infertility , who visit the clinic for infertility diagnose and treatment in Kamal AlSamiray Hospital.

Time frame : 2004-2005 The most prominent results in this research states that the psychological stress comes from six resources : repeated questions about giving birth, expenditure of treatment and who will take care of them in their old ages, the pain caused by treatment and the insignificance of life because of not having a baby, and the shyness caused by treatment.
