This study tackled the crisis management in the library of King Abdul Aziz University.

And the problem is determined in the following question: What extent the awareness of the staff at the central library at king Abdul Aziz university about stages of crisis management (cognitive, readiness, confrontation, evaluation)? The importance of this study is emanated from giving lights about crisis management in the university>s library, because this subject is one of the modern management subjects, and anther importance of this study is originated with their results and recommendations of the benefit of officials at the University of King Abdul Aziz. The study aimed to identify the stages of crisis management, also aimed to identify the level of awareness of the stages of crisis management to the staff at the Central Library at the University of King Abdul-Aziz.

And is reflected in the objectives of the study to answer the following questions: What stages of crisis management?, And the level of awareness among staff in the library sample these stages?.

This study depended on more than methodology of scientific research methodologies, such as the, descriptive methodology.

All these Information has been collected by questionnaire lists, and also research sample included all women staff at the Central Library at the University of King Abdul Aziz’s which are totaling of 23 persons, who are distributed to 23 questionnaire list and, the total forms became (21) forms (91%) from the total Community of the study. The results of the study have shown that there is a difference in the level of awareness among employees in the Library study sample stages of crisis management.

Based on the results of the study the researcher presented a number of recommendations was highlighted: the need for attention to the formation of a working group to deal with crises, as well as the study suggests the need to hold training sessions for employees and to raise their competence in the face of crises.
