Research concludes research definition which had that the traditional lesson does not have all the requirements needed in the learning process by the operator in order to give the scientific item(theoretical and operational),so there should be a learning means helping the teacher to get the goal concerning with the lesson.

The significance of research is found in using auxiliary optical mean by which the learner could know the parts of forward movement in foil weapon and getting better skill by analyzing some kinematical variables of performance.

The introduction also concluded the research problem.

By teaching and learning the researcher this move traditionally without depending on scientific means, difficulty and weak in student's performance has been found, therefore, it is necessary to use auxiliary optical mean during the learning units for their significance in explaining the parts of movement.

Goals of research: 1- knowing the effect of using of optical mean in learning the technical performance of forward movement and some kinematical variables.

Hypothesis of research: 1- The optical visual mean has positive effect in learning technical performance of forward movement in foil weapon and some kinematical variables of research sample.

2- There are statistical differences of evaluating the technical performance of forward movement in foil weapon and some kinematical variables between post and posterior test of research sample.

Fields of research: Human field: sample of third stage students/college of sport education/university of Basrah for the year 2010/2011.

Time field: from 12/12/2010 to 9/1/2011.

Place field: fencing hall of sport education college/university of Basrah.

In theoretical study learning means and the relationship of optical-visual learning with learning means the principles of biomechanical analysis and forward move were discussed.

Analysis and discussion of results were showed for getting the goals and statistical hypothesis of research in knowing on the effect of using of auxiliary learning mean.

Results have been treated statistically by using (T)test of unrelated samples.

Experimental results showed that there moral differences in all tests and the result was for post test.

The researcher has got several conclusions: 1- The optical visual mean has positive effect in learning technical performance of forward movement in foil weapon for research sample.

Research has finished with the following recommendations such as: 1- It necessary to use optical learning mean in learning technical performance of forward move in foil weapon because its importance in giving learners better development of skilful performance movement depending on the requirements and mechanical bases comparing with traditional style.
