September 11, 2001 represents a turning point in the current history of terrorism.

Since this date, the international community has begun to apprehend the grave danger that surrounds terrorism and its sources.

The issue, in particular, is dominant among Arab youth.

The West, on her part, is projecting a derogatory image of both Arabs and Muslims.

The present study represents an exploratory endeavor to discern the relative attitudes of the Arab youth towards terrorism.

A questionnaire was prepared and distributed among a sample group of Bahrain University students--males and females.

Their highlight responses, in summation, are in order: 1.Terrorism means the virtual destruction of human society.

This was the response of 6.64% students.

2.Among the reasons contributing to the rise of terrorism, weakness on culture awareness is dominant: This was the response of 4.31% students.

3.Among the multiple suggestive solutions to resolve the expanding problem of terrorism is the progressive availability of job opportunities to newly graduating youth.

This was the response of 5.38% students.

The study, in its closing passages, concludes that terrorism has represented an international historical phenomenon.

It has been castigated by all classes of social strata-economist, socio-political reformers, scholars and students.

The study offers, in its ending pages as well, two fold recommendations of academic significance.

First, it recommends that research on the subject must continue unabated.

Second, it recommends that future researchers should strive to project more candid view of the Arab youth against terrorism.
