The present study strives to identify crimes related to antiques.

Also, it has sought to shed light on their respective penalties.

Included in the presentation are supportive textual details.

All in all, the present study has expanded following topics crime on antiques; illicit sale of antiques; relative penalties; police action on a antiques -related crimes; and recovery of stolen antiques.

The study, in its conclusive section, has offered some recommendations.

Among the latter, the most salient are as under: 1.Assistance should be provided to pertinent institutions on constant antiques research and antiques preservation; 2.Specialized administrative bodies should be established to carry out supervisory tasks on antiques affairs; 3.Importance of antiques, pre se, must be given wider publicity; and 4.Legal provision may be promulgated that should monitor the illicit sale of antiques in the public markets.
