الملخص الإنجليزي

This work consist of eight chapters.

Including chapter as introduction chapter 2 consists of boundary layer equations for flow along a flat plate together with the two- dimensional jet .chapter 3 some steady flow applications of the momentum balance in jets are given, chapter 4 deals with stability analyses of cylindrical liquid jets.

In chapter 5 free Inviscid inertial jet is considered.

Chapter 6 gives the size of drops upon jet breakup, some theories of jet breakup are given in chapter 7.

In chapter 8 the sol gel process is discussed.

In chapter 5and 7and 8some new results are established which include the modification of the solutions of some equations and the correction of some derivations.
