الملخص EN

This study presents the role of three informal institutions (The mosque, the family and the tribe) of preventing crime delinquency.

It argues that the family is a frontline defense against delinquency.

Lack closeness with Parent, parental conflict, parent’s bad behavior, divorce and family’s problems are very important factors.

That may lead children to engage in delinquent acts.

Also it shows that the mosque can provides prevention to Moslems communities.

Such prevention and security may provide through many channels: for example: Friday speech, prayers, neighbour integration, and God obedience.

The Mosque leader (Imam) also can ply a big role of making his communities save and crime free.

He would achieve those goals by encouraging neighbours to integrate and help them develop their own security system by increasing their awareness of the effect of delinquent behavior on Moslem community.

More over he can encourage them to build up a strong neighborhood crime watching system.

The third part of this study dealt with the roll of the tribe in our Arab society.

It is discuses how tribe can be an impediment factor for urbanization.

At argue that tribal person might be more loyal to his tribal norms than the state law, which means he will close his eyes on the fault of his cousins or tribal relatives, particularly in the case of smuggling or illegal migrants.

These things are not shame in tribal custom.
