أثر استخدام نشاطات كتابية و شفاهية مصاحبة لدروس المطالعة و النصوص على تنمية بعض مهارات القراءة الناقدة : دراسة تجريبية

This study explored the effect of concomitant use of writing and oral activities with Arabic reading texts on the development of five critical reading subskills.

The study was conducted on a random sample of 107 Tenth Grade female students from three Basic Education Schools in Irbid District.

The researcher used the experimental design where the sample was subdivided into three groups: a control group studying the prescribed topics with the curricular activities suggested in the textbook; an experimental group studying the same topics through concomitant writing activities, and another experimental group studying the same topics using parallel oral activities.

To determine the effect of the concomitant activities, the researcher used a tool known as critical reading test which he devised for this purpose (reliability^ 0.84).

The study showed significant differences between the means of the three groups at < P= 0.01 in favor of the experimental groups due experimental groups due to type of con-comiiant activity.
