ظواهر في لغة الشعر العربي الحديث و إشكالية التأويل

The paper investigates the role of language in the reception and perception of modern poetry, and the interpretation problems it raises.

The study deals with a iiumber of issues: the distance between the linguistic signifier and the poetic signified, syntactic and semantic deviation, disruption and the drastic changes in the language of poetry, It also deals with changes in poetic symbols in terms of symbol- density, and strangeness, the deviation of the traditional symbol from its original reference.

The study reveals that the pre-occupation of the poetic text with these linguistic features have made it ambigious, and its interpretaton and uncertain.

In other word the difficulties that the receptors of such texts face in receiving, understanding, and enjoying them are to be seen as the direct result of these liguistic characterises.
