الملخص EN

This paper proposes a quaternion-ESPRIT algorithm for closed-form estimation of direction of arrival (DOA) and polarization, using a cylindrical conformal array configuration.

First, the array steering vector and the elevation are estimated using a quaternion eigenvalue decomposition of the data covariance matrix.

Second, the azimuth is estimated.

Finally, the polarization parameters are estimated using the relationships between the dipoles and the loops.

These estimates are automatically matched.

Simulation results show that the performance of quaternion method is obviously better than that of the long-vector method.
