The aim of this research is to design and implement a software package that automatically generates coordinates that are utilized in the analysis and design of certain types of steel structures, specifically a Communication tower; by using the construction package (STAAD III).

The (STAAD III) package facilitates the analysis, design, graphics and visualization of various construction 'structures.

The Gaussin Elimination method was used to solve the matrix equations required to calculate the coordinates.

Turbo Pascal ver.7 was used to implement the mathematical and arithmetical operations necessary for generating the input file.

The software package can be executed on Pentium computers under Windows 98 environment.
