This research study investigates the importance of training on industries performance to demonstrate that companies that invest in implementing training programs for their employees gain a return from that investment: high quality, increased productivity, and more profits.
The study looks at the correlation that may exist between training and labor quality, labor productivity, and performance across a number of companies in the textile industry.

This finding indicates the importance of training.
Having the manager’s support and the necessary training, technical as well as motivational, to perform the task effectively and efficiently were the most important factors associated with high productivity which, on average, increased by 44.37% in 2005.
Quality, on the other hand, was most represented by the decrease in defective units which, on average, decreased by 57.97% for the same period.
The finding of this study for training impact on profit was interesting.
The use of a control company to evaluate the profit growth of the experimental group was appealing.

The survey was conducted in October 2006 and includes 85 respondents employed in 6 different companies in the textile sector.
It took about two months of intensive work to complete and produce reliable data for the purpose of the research.
The survey produced findings in four major areas: training, quality, productivity, and profitability.
Overall, the most interesting finding of the survey (which was consistent with previous findings) is the relationship between training, employee satisfaction, quality and productivity.
