The stu،؛y is mainly a psychometric study to standardize Otis-Lennon School Ability Test "Eighth Edition" advanced level, on a sample of students from the ninth until eleventh class; well as some signs of formative and concurrent validity.

Otis-Lennon School Ability Test "Eighth Edition" advanced level was administred on a sample of students from the ninth until eleventh class in Hama governorate for school year (2011-2012), (280) students (١ 66) male and (124) female.

Results show: ل - Construct validity: The correlation coefficients between the item score and the score of cluster ranged beft^een (0.01- 0.6ر(و and were (0.01- 0.60) between each item and the total score, and (0.31- 0.88) between the fourth clusters together and test’s total score.

These values have statistical significant at level (0.01), and these results are considered good index for the construct validity.

2 - Concurrent validity: The Pearson correlation coefficients between Raven Test and Otis- Lennon School Ability Test ranged between (0.61- 0.72), the values of correlation coefficients between achievement student’s degrees in Arabic and mathematic and their degrees on the verbal and quantitative part of the test between (0.48- 0.53), (0.55- 0.64) according to the educational class and total sample.

3 - Discriminative validity: The results of analysis of variance show that there are statistical significance differences between the different educational classes at level less than (0.01).

4 - Reliability: The values of internal consistency coefficients by Alpha Cronbach ranged between (0.86- 0.72).
