clearly the close correlation between them, and if we apply the two concepts on Africa, with the exception of some countries such as Egypt and Ethiopia, we can say that colonial powers caused a lot of changes in the political components of the continent .Therefore freedom was associated with the efforts of the African countries to obtain independence with the new borders.

After independence and adoption of different patterns of political systems, freedom appears again as an integral part of that process .This time the question is not about freedom from colonial powers, but it included public freedoms such as freedom of expression, the formation of political parties and organizations, and participation in the political authorities in all stages.

This has been associated with disparities in development that began in the days of colonialism and continued under the national governments as result of lack of proper planning on one hand, and the concentration of the national and international capitals on profit possibilities only.

So the development and calls for freedom were the main causes of wars and uprisings witnessed by many countries.

All mentioned issues are what this study is trying to highlight and analyze, using the descriptive and analytical approaches.
