This research consists in a verification of a treatise about the sects written by Abu Dhar Ahmad bin Ibrahim bin Muhammad, who lived in the ninth century.

Where the author speaks about the origins of Islamic sects.

The auther has talked about more than eighty sects in his book.

The auther has generaliy a method of breifness and conciseness.

I thought to share in the bringing out of this treatise to the world of light to be organized into the chain of what is written in this area, i.e sects and methodologies.

I have tried to walk on the method of the author in the verification of the treatise and commenting on it.

That I will take the method of briefness and conciseness as possible, according to the scientific method used in such scientific works.

And I referred, in the margin, at the beginning of each sect, to a number of books written on sects and views for those who wanted further information about it.

I have commented on the issues in which the auther goes against the method of Ahl Al Sunnah in some opinions.

And also commented on a number of issues that, I think, need to comment, aiming in this whole at the conciseness and briefness.
