There is no doubt that the progress of knowledge and the development of knowledge taking space and great interest in the institutions and countries, This progress find knowledge gap has become a topic important strategic raises the attention of many large organizations, which are trying to provide studies and analyzes of knowledge gap indicators, in order to describe and description accurate can offer a range of solutions that help bridging and narrowing the knowledge gap between the countries.

According to the great importance of this topic World Bank use methodology (KAM) to describe indicators of knowledge and the knowledge economy of the world and through which can be calculated size of the knowledge gap, and then we can measure what are the factors contributed to size of knowledge gap.

Hence this research analytical work to provide an analytical description of the knowledge gap and the way calculated for a sample of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and try to identify indicators most vulnerable and least interested in these countries
