This paper studies, comments, and analyses the detailed report sent by Sharif Mohammed Bin Aun to Muhammad Ali Pasha in Safar 3, 1251 AH / May 31, 1835 AD, in which he reveals the important details about the campaign waged by him against Asir this year.

He describes the actions taken, and military confrontations that took place between Asir troops led by Prince Aidh Ben Mari, and the victories achieved by Sherif Mohammed bin Aun and his troops during their advance to Sakka, a stronghold of Prince Aidh.

As well he describes the crimes actions committed by the forces of Mohammed Ali in the right of the population as they killed, captured and destroyed the crops to subject the region by force.

Then he concluded the report by talking about the details of the defeat suffered by his army, and how difficult was their withdrawal from Asir.
