The study aims at identifying New York Times Attitude in News Coverage during pre-US War on Iraq - October 20, 2002 to March 3, 2003.

The study population consists of all the published topics in American New York Times in the duration October 20, 2002 to March 3, 2003.

The sample of the study consists of (120) topic from the news texts and analysis and investigation and others from submitted topics in New York Times which related to study topic were selected randomly.

The study used content analysis style to reveals with topics content analysis.

Frequencies, percentages were use for the concepts, significance and meanings that consisted in the study tool.

The study showed the following: that Iraq idea about Hiding weapons of mass destruction, its the direct inflammatory most frequent in the war on Iraq, where it got the highest frequency in each of the first three months, while the idea of human rights in Iraq as the most provocative idea indirectly during the study period.
