الثقافة الصحية في الصحافة المكتوبة : دراسة تحليلية لصفحة "عيادة الخبر"

This study deals with the health culture in the daily newspaper Elkhabar, through an analysis if the topics of the page ‘’Clinique of Elkhabar’’, a weekly page allocated by Elkhabar for health culture.

We devided our study into two parts; a first part to clarify the theoretical dimensions of the subject; and a second part in which we analyzed a sample of numbers where '’The Clinique of Elkhabar” was published.

The results of this analytic study showed that strategy used by the daily Elkhabar in publishing the topics of health culture in this page, i.e.

diversifying the topics and making them as many as possible.

There were published around five topics per page, as well as focusing on the scientific article more than any other form of publishing.

Illustrations and images accompanying the written matter are used widely, as shown in the results related to the analysis of the nature of the questions posed to the doctor of ‘’The Clinique of Elkhabar”.

There were more female than male readers asking who asked questions.

We also reached the conclusion that the readers of this section are typical and diverse.

We noticed the presence of questions related to many all types of diseases.

The purpose of this study was to deal with a very important topic, related to meeting the need of individuals from society, as it tries to initiate studying such pages in order to clarify the reality of publishing health culture in the media, especially the written press.
