There has been much turmoil and hostility against Islam; false sensations of Muslims of terrorism and stigmatizing them as being unable to hold dialogue.

The researcher aimed at identifying the attributes of a proper dialogue through investigating the life of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) or Sirah.

in this research, the researcher applied the inductive method by studying the Prophet’s dialogues in Hadith and Sirah books.

The researcher also applied the Analytic-deductive method while analyzing the Prophetic dialogues in order to derive findings.

The research also addressed aspects of observing the interlocutor’s psychological, cultural and social states as these affect the method of the dialogue
