The aim of this study is to pose a central issue which is becoming more and more important in the field of contemporary critical and artistic studies.

This issue is related to the interrelatedness of arts and the similarities between what is written and what is visual, the supremacy of the image and the visual culture so that the students of such fields have the impression that the image in its techniques and manifestations is about to undermine the sanctity of writing.
