This article aims to study the problem of reception in the novel of "bleeding of the stone "« NAZIF EL HADJAR » by Ibrahim El-Koni, The study shows that the theory of reception does not perceive the reader just as a consumer of the text , but the rather as a second producer.

The meaning doesn’t depend on the author and the text any more , but rather it can be made through the relationship between the literary work and the reader The "bleeding of the stone " is rich by different text structures which have served as at attractions to the reader .

in addition , it gave the novel the ability for reading and literary discussion
