النشر العلمي الدولي في الدوريات الزائفة على شبكة الإنترنت : دراسة وصفية إحصائية

In recent years some publishers are exploiting the model of open access publishing, they have cheated thousands of professors and scholars mostly from developing countries and those who were in the urgent need of publishing their articles in International journals.

These Journals may be known to accept submissions quickly with little peer review, publish nonsensical papers, require a processing fee after a publishing agreement is signed, and known as "predatory journals".

A key aim of the present paper is to spotlight these ‘predatory’ journals and examines Arabic articles for some of these journals.

The results shows that, Arab Articles are represented 3.15% of the total number of articles published in those journals and the most Arab authors are concentrated in Egypt, Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
