The energy geography Considered one of the most recent economic geographic branches relatively, and falls electrical interconnection within the research topics of energy geography, approach of systematically systems is the major search in energy geography, which highlights research on the three phases of the electrical system (production, transportation, consumption).

And electrical interconnection comes within the second phase of the electrical system.

The electrical interconnection required form of economic development between the countries as a general rule and between Egypt and Saudi Arabia especially, so it shall identify the size of the electrical system in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt, This research will be interested in several topics, This study consists of six parts Preceded by an introduction and it ends with conclusion .the first section comprise a historical overview of electricity in the two countries.

second section Take the production of electrical power in both countries, and the third section Interest of the power Electricity Network in both countries, While fourth section lesson the electricity consumption in both countries, and in Section fifth has been the study of network connectivity, and devote Sixth section to study network connectivity evaluation and its problems and how to treat them.
