In the second article Alain de Benoist determines a set of realistic judgments in the context of his criticism of the liberal ideology in its traditional and its post modernity forms.

In his opinion, liberalism is an ambiguous term even in its definition, which is due to the huge number of interpretations that the ages of modernity have been through since the fourteenth century A.D.

till the present time.

In his article, Benoist answers a multitude of questions in this course.

He sees that liberalism never showed in the form of a unified principle because it was not generated by the efforts of one person.

Various liberals have defined it in different methods, but rather contradictory.

However, those agree on enough common points that they all may be classified as liberals; those points also allow liberalism to be defined as a school of thought.

On one hand, liberalism is an economic principle that makes the self-organized market a model for the entire social reality.

On the other hand, liberalism is considered a principle based on individualistic anthropology; that is to say, it is structured on the concept that primarily considers the human being an unsocial being.
