This study deals primarily with modern linguists' examination of specific verbs in the form of if3alla.

Those linguists argue that many examples of this form including redundant hamza (because of syllabic reasons) have by and large developed by replacing hamza with ain or ha'.

The result of this replacement is the appearance of two forms: if3a'lla and if3ahalla as in the verbs ibth3arra derived from ibtha'rra and ijrahada derived from ijradda.

Some linguists take at face value this type of replacement as a redundant measurement.

Following those instances in Arabic dictionaries reveals that many of those instances in the form if3alla have not replaced Hamza by the previous two sounds.

Thus, claiming that this type of replacement by some modern linguists and generalizing its results are only assumptions which are not applicable to other instances.

For instance, if it is allowable to insert Hamza instead of alif maddah in the verbs ihma'arra and ihmarra, it is reasonable to mention that Hamza itself is original in other verbs, and it is a replacement with ha'a in other verbs.

Accordingly, drawing on the authenticity of this replacement along with its examples, this study is in line with the development of quadrilateral verbs and changing them to its trilateral roots by adding specific consonants.

Based on this, it is easy to derive bath3a from ibtha3rra' and jahada from ijrahada after the trilateral and quadrilateral roots share the same meaning.
