أثر التعلم التعاوني المستخدم في تدريس مبحث التربية الإسلامية في تحسين الكفاءة الذاتية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر الأساسي في الأردن

This study aimed to investigate the impact of using cooperative learning in teaching Islamic education subject in improving the self-competency among the tenth grade students in Jordan.The two researchers adopted the quasi-experimental approach, and the members of the study were (110) male and female students of tenth grade from schools.

Brigade Na'our Directorate of the Ministry of Education in Jordan ,Students were selected purposely then assigned using random distribution into four divisions in the experimental and control groups, where the experimental group, which underwent the cooperative learning strategies, had (53) male and female students, while the control group that underwent the usual method had (57) male and female students, To achieve the objectives of the study, the two researchers prepared a measure for self-competency.

The educational plans have been prepared in accordance with the cooperative learning strategies, then the study tool was applied to the experimental and control groups, before the application of the study as well as after the completion of it.

The study results showed a statistically significant difference (α ≤ 0.05) in improving self-competency to the tenth grade students in Islamic Education subject attributed to the strategies of the cooperative learning in the experimental group, and the results showed the absence of a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05) in improving self-competency among tenth grade students in Islamic Education subject due to the interaction between the teaching method and the gender of the students.
