The problem of urban housing of Az Zubayr is one of the most important problems of the city's population which the crisis of community services escalate thru it, and other infrastructure, in fact this applies to all the cities of Iraq that suffer from a shortage of appropriate houses in its quantity and quality minimum limits .As it is well known, the public sector which is intended to activity of the state represented by the general authority of housing here affiliated to the ministry of construction and housing which have the authority of building houses , and public houses.

It contributed to the easing of housing problem by distribution of residential land as well as financial facilities and real estate loans to various strata of society which led to residential function development in quality and quantity in the seventies of the last century, the research deals with the study of this problem, building private residential neighborhoods for some social classes .
