(Hg, Tl)-2212 is high temperature superconductor; it has high critical temperature more than other like YBCO.

It is useful to focusing on the fluctuation of conductivity Δσ for this material for achieving critical temperature and becoming a superconductor.

So in this research mercury based superconducting samples of type (Hg xTl1-x)2 Ba2CaCu2Oδ+6, where x = 0.1, 0.2, 0.3 were prepared, in a sealed quartz tube, by a single step solidstate reaction technique.

The prepared samples were investigated using X-ray powder diffraction and electrical resistance.

Powder X-ray diffraction analysis revealed that the studied sample showed a main phase of (Hg,Tl)-2212 with tetragonal structure (space group P/4mmm).

The electrical resistance R (T) was measured as a function of temperature using the conventional four probe dc technique in the temperature range from 10 K to 300 K.

The fluctuation conductivity, above the superconducting transition temperature Tc , was analyzed as a function of temperature using the Aslamazov and Larkin theory.

It exhibits five different fluctuation regions, namely critical (cr), threedimensional (3D), two-dimensional (2D), one-dimensional (1D) and short-wave (sw).
