الملخص الإنجليزي

Ihis paper is devoted to the study of the relation between the illustration and the lexical articic in the primary school dictionary exploring, first, its relation with the polysemy to find the criteria of selection of a meaning with regard to another one to be represented in the illustration, and second, verifying the interaction between the illustration and the structure of the article dictionary and its impact on the abbreviation or the redundancy of the articic according to the space occupied by the linguistic component compared to the visual one.

Nous abortions dam cette presence communication la relation entre ['illustration ct la Structure de I’articlc dans lc dictionnaire scolairc destine aux dlcvcs du primaire, cn examinant deux dements : cn premier lieu la relation entre I'illustration et la polysemic pour ccrner les crirercs qui s’imposent dans lc choix d un sens par rapport a un autre afin de lc rcprcsenter dans une illustration ; dcuxiimemcm, nous vcrifions I’interaction qui se fail entre I'illustration ct la structure de l'article et ses repercussions sur I'abreviation ou la rcdondancc dc I'articlc suivant la placc qu’occupe le composant linguistique par rapport au composant visucl.
