Eating researchers in their search Introduction Search and its importance as well as the research problem that crystallized in a few studies and research on important disclose the personal characteristics of students during their university studies as well as identify the reality feature optimism and pessimism among the students of the Faculty of Physical Education / University of Babylon for the academic year 1121-1122 The objective of this research is to 1- Get optimism and pessimism among the students of the Faculty of Physical 1121-1122Education / Phase IV for the academic year 2- to identify the differences in optimism and pessimism among students and students of the Faculty of Physical Education / Phase IV.

The researchers used the descriptive methods surveys and benchmarking studies, the suitability nature of the students( 11) students, and (39) research, while research sample consisted of representing the students of the Faculty of Physical Education Phase IV for the 1121/1122academic year Through display, analyze and discuss the results reached the following conclusions 1- could measure excellence and disclosure to that enjoyed by the research sample of characteristic optimism and pessimism 2- characterized sample (students, male and female) possessing characteristic optimism and pessimism and by areas of the scale 3- There are significant differences between male and female students in after me (Hope / psychosocial compatibility) as well as the standard format as a whole and for the benefit of students 4- There are no differences between male and female students in dimensions )(self-esteem / lesson-oriented practical as well as perseverance It is these conclusions, the researchers recommended :- .use a measure of optimism and pessimism of other grades - 2 further studies to detect the current relationship research variables with some - 1 .other variables .conduct a similar study on theoretical lessons - 9
