This study was conducted on laying chick breed red Saudi ,140 chicks were divided in to four group first control, second was given levimisole, third vaccine injected the forth was given vaccine and levamisole .

Bivalent vaccine Respens CVI 988 and HVT was used at one day old by intramuscular Injection.

Samples of spleen, liver, kidney, thymus and fabricious bursa were taken at days 3,10,16,22,28,34,42 for gross & histological study.

Blood smears were taken at same days for measuring stress factor index and phagocytic index .The gross reactions vary from.

Congestion to enlanyment of organs and hemorrhage after vaccination comparable to control.Histological sections showed clear changes in most organ spleen, thymus, liver and kidney representing hemorrhage of blood vessels perivascular cuffing it was more clearly lymphocytic deplesion specially in fabrious bursa.

Phagocytic index showed significant increase in vaccinated group on the other hand levamisole group showed decrease in phagocytic index compared to control group .Stress index increased after giving vaccine and decrease after giving levamisole
