Effectiveness of behavioral treatment program to reduce some common phobias among a sample of children in the first year of the primary education in Taiz City.

This study aims at recognize the effectiveness of the behavioral treatment program in reducing the fear from punishment at the children of the first stage of stage education in Taiz city.

The sample of the study consists of 40 children divide, randomly, to two groups: experimental group consists of 20 children and regulator group consists of 20 children.

And the following tools and questionnaire had been prepared to know the most common fears at the children, and to test the diagnosis of fear from punishment and the behavioral treatment program to reduce the fear from punishment at children.

The study concluded the followings: 1) there are significant statistics differences at level 0.01 between the degree of experimental group children in the test of fear from punishement, before and after applying the program in favor of the post application.

2) There are significant statistics differences at level 0.01 between the degree of the two experimental and regular groups after applying the behavioral program in favor of the experimental group.

3) There are no significant statistics differences between the degrees of experimental and regular groups in the post and subsequent test after two month from the applying of the program on the test of fear from punishement.
