Electrical energy is vital for sustainable development of any nation- be it social, economic or environment.It is also the essential mean for progression and development in different life‘s fields and it is also considered as one of the purest energy in general .the rate of energy ‘s consumption has developed in Algeria.

The reason that leads to seeking for developed means to face the increasing demand .

The study comes to the following findings: •It necessary to resort to demarketing means and strategies in order to be able to contain the current demand on electricity because the local production of electricity in general , is less than the actual need ; •The programmed cut of the electric power has been used to avoid waste and overuse of electricity consumption ; this sort of measure is useful only to control the provision and duration but not rationalizing Keywords : Electrical energy, energy efficiency,rationalization , demarketing means Sharzad
