تضمين الآيات القرآنية الكونية في كتب العلوم المطورة للصفوف الثلاثة العليا من المرحلة الابتدائية في المملكة العربية السعودية : دراسة تحليلية

The objective of this study is to detect the extent of Quranic verses inclusion which indicate universal phenomena in the developed science textbooks of the higher three grades of primary school in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and how to achieve the standards proposed to include Quranic verses in the science textbooks from the Islamic perspective.

The study population and its sample consisted of all developed science textbooks for the first and second semesters of grades (fourth, fifth, sixth) from the primary school as well as teachers’ guide in the school year (1436 - 1437 H).

The descriptive analytical method was applied to identify cosmic phenomena in the study sample textbooks, identify Quranic texts that indicate them, and consequently building a list that includes the most indicated suitable Quranic texts, as well as a list of inclusion standards of cosmic Quranic verses in science textbooks from the Islamic perspective, to confirm its validity and consistency, and then analyze the study sample textbooks accordingly.

In order to answer the study questions, frequencies and percentages were used, the findings showed that the extent of Quranic verses inclusion which indicate universal phenomena, had a high percentage.

The findings also showed the overall percentage for the achievement of these books to the standards of cosmic Quranic verses quotation, was medium(45%), while the overall percentage of how to achieve the standards of scientific interpretation of cosmic Quranic verses, was low(25%).

As a result, the study has recommended a number of procedural recommendations, the most important, conducting a review of the developed science courses in the higher grades of primary school, to take into account the inclusion standards of cosmic Quranic verses in the science textbooks from the Islamic perspective, especially in the field of scientific interpretation of cosmic Quranic verses.
