دراسة الكساء السطحي لعدد من أنواع عائلة الأستر Asteraceae في محافظة إربيل-العراق

الملخص EN

This research included indumentums studying of reproductive and non reproductive parts of nine species from Asteracea family collected from specific region in Erbil province.

The results showed three kinds of epidermal appendages, glandular trichome, glandular trichomes and papillae.

These kinds were differ from each other by their types, Dimensions, shapes, apices and bases shapes, bases insertion degree, walls thickness and ornamentation, characters of surrounding cells and position.

All species contains glandular and eglandular trichomes except Hedypnois cretica (L.) F.W.Schmidt., Rhagadiolus stellatus(L.) Gaertn.

which lacking glandular ones.

Trichome diversity was investigated by light microscope.

And according to their morphology and anatomy.

Trichomes were classified into several groups.

The glandular ones included the trichomes group of multicellular uniserrate stalk with unicellular head, group of multicellular –multiserrate trichome stalk with multicellular head and group of multicellular – uniserrate or biserrate stalk with multicellular head in addition to bladder like glandular trichomes, the eglandular trichome divided also to several groups , the first one is simple unicellular trichomes group with acute or obtuse apices as in flowers parts an fruits, group of multicellular – uniserrate trichomes varied by its apices , group of multicellular – biserrate differ by their dimensions, group of multicellular –multiserrate trichomes (Shaggy) differ by its apices and group of flagelliform (whip-like) trichome differ by their bases characters.

In addition to bicellular with branched apex ones.

The papillae presents in two shapes, the triangular with acute apex and finger – like shape with obtuse apex , which distributed on corolla leaves and branched apices of stigmatic style
