Scientific research In Algeria,going through a critical stage in termsoffinancial support provided by the responsible authorities and the ambitious objectives that it attempts to Achieve in the light of the widely open informational space offered to researchers, including the various information sources, the digital library, that have became interest to specialists and decision makers, In this paper, attempts to analyze the situation to the Algerian digital Library, The researchers, Their attitude towards the bad situation that the digital library faces due to the unilateralsupervising of projects, the absence of coordination and cooperation between the supervising institutions.

The author also intends to present the Algerian researchers, position to wards the current developments in the world digital libraries, and the obstacles that prevent them from benefitting from these modern information sources.

The study will propose some solutions that may promote scientific research in Algeria, in addition to some suggestions that may attract the interest ofand decision makers and push them to improve significantly the situation of digital libraries in Algeria.
