This research attempts to study the principles of Islamic Sukuk, and the possibility to explore them in thee fund of productive & service-holding sectors, in a manner to contribute in realizing economic progress and development.

This research study is centered over the concept and the types of Islamic Sukuk, highlighting its economic importance for all financial investment partners.

Including the study of its issuing organizational aspects with focus on the description of Islamic Al-Ijara Sukuk structure & components, as well as a related discussion about its role as investment component in the economic development projects.

Our research constitutes an important view in the field of Islamic financial production's innovation and development, corresponding to the decision of many countries governments and institutions to motivate the Islamic Sukuk in facing financial obligations needed to realize economic development and progress.

This research resulted that Islamic Sukuk, generally and Al-Ijara Sukuk, especially, are appropriate to be an investment element, with its all principles sectors, whether infrastructure projects, public services or investment of big productive projects.

Similarly, Islamic Sukuk can offer an investment device able to mobilize financial resources for small investors, and can also be easy for trading use by its capacity to absorb surplus cash and short term investment in Islamic Banks.
