Humanitarian intervention is considered one of mechanisms that the international society depends on a lot in the last year to protect human rights especially when it comes to collective rights for individuals.

Although Humanitarian intervention is not new in international relations, it became prominent and distinctive after the end of the cold-war and the rise of the new international system where USA dominates the world.

As a result for the fall of socialism, many internal conflicts in many countries leads to wars (eg: ethnic wars).

This was used as reason for other countries and international organizations to intervene to protect minorities under the umbrella of human rights, minorities’ protection, and presenting humanitarian aids.
