This study aimed at revealing the social support as a medium variable between the irrational thoughts and the trend towards life to the disabled, and recognizing the relation between the irrational thoughts and the trend towards life after deposing social support.

The measurements have applied on a sample of (115) male and female disabled, the results have showed that there is a positive relationship between the social support and trend towards life, and social support played a medium role between the irrational thoughts and trend towards life, and there is a correlation between irrational thoughts and trend towards life.

After the statistical deposing of the effect of social support of the relation between irrational thoughts and trend towards life, the value of correlation was decreased and became statistically insignificant, Also the results have showed that there are differences in the social support according to gender variable, place of living, and the income.

Also there are differences in the trend towards life according to the variable of the number of family members, and merital status.
