Banking system is the beating heart of any modern economy by performing a set of modern banking functions, where he participates - the banking system - with high ef^ciency in liquidity provision and the path- provision control of liquidity to several different parties in economy , in order to increasing the levels of economic growth.

On this basis, this paper sought to determine The impact of intermediary banking functions on economy growth in Algeria for the period (1990-2012), "the study has identified by an independent variable (intermediary banking functions) and its different dimensions: the money supply, savings mobilization , resource allocation, and a dependent variable (economic growth), to achieve the study o^ectives will be based on time series variables for the period study ( 1990-2012) and will be used for the program ( EVIEWS ) by the method of ordinary least squares and other econometric methods.
