الملخص الإنجليزي

This study aims to measure the availability of the graphic design standards in building printed Children's stories in Jordan and the earlier discovery of the art production for printed children stories starting from the graphic to printing stages and identifying children’s stories methods and techniques.

To achieve the purpose of this study, the study's tool was designed as a questionnaire prepared by the researcher to collect data on the application of graphic design standards in children’s books printed in Jordan.

After reviewing the previous studies, observation and interview with the experts, this study's tool was formed after confirming the validity, arbitration and stability of the tool.

As result, this study comprised of five areas that led to analyze 5 children stories issued by the minister of culture in 2016-2017 with the approval of jury committee.

The researcher adapted the analytical descriptive approach which resulted as following : The availability of the graphic design standards in building printed Children’s stories in Jordan were low in the first three areas, but the lamination and folding papers were available in the fourth area of study in stories.

As for the second question, the survey community's point of view was agreed on regardless of their ages, professions, sexes, experiences and qualifications.

The most important recommendations in this study : -To create an annual prize to honor the best design of a children's story printed in Jordan.

-Stories of children in Jordan need to have a personality "superhero" that derives from the Arab culture and abide with the customs and traditions in Jordan.
