This study describes the reality of laying out and designing the Palestinian electronic news sites by knowing the design of their main pages and their constituent elements, their laying out styles, and the way they publish their informational contents.

The study belongs on the descriptive comparative studies, and depends on two approaches: a survey approach in which the method of analyzing the content is used, the comparative method is also used in order to figure out the similarities and differences among the sited of study.

The study concluded that Maan News Site is the longest, where the height of its page is 4766 pixles, followed by the Palestine Information Centre.

The sites have agreed to use the branching out lists, such as drop-down lists.

They all have adopted one style in laying out the surfing lists, which is a pattern at the top of the main page only.

Their contents on the main page follow the gate style.

As to the direction of the contents, they all adopt the horizontal presentation.

The sites have also shown that they use only two fonts in the headlines.

The font size of the texts and headlines are between 10-18.

They also do not have a site map to show how to use it, but they give links to their pages on the social networks.

Besides, they provide more services, to mention only the RSS service.

Finally, the study has found out that the sites studied use small and medium size photos with convergent proportions.

They also rely on video clip, as one of the most important type of multimedia (83.33%).

The sites surveyed adopt the technique of the hypertext mainly (99.67%).
